Things in Haiti work on "Haitian time", which means things are almost always up in the air. This includes our job descriptions. So far, we'll be focusing on enrolling children and orphans in child sponsorship programs, setting up tent hospitals for the medical mission teams we'll be hosting, as well as hosting church mission teams. I'm sure as we prepare for our trip, the job description will grow and get modified.
My trip will cost $24,000. I definitely don't have that money, so I know that God is just using this as another opportunity to show me how magnificent He is. Already, He's been nothing but faithful to me. I'm hoping in 3 months, I'll be able to look at the donation records and say, "God, you are beyond amazing. How do you do it?".
If you're interested in donating, here's how you can do that. You can visit www.worldhope.org and under Our Work, choose Hope Corps. Click Donate Now. Enter the amount you'd like to donate on the first line. Then choose One Time Gift or Recurring Monthly Gift. Enter Kerry Griffith/ CT10009953/ V1177 on the next line. Click Make Your Donation Now.
If you prefer to donate by check, you can make your check out to World Hope International and put Kerry Griffith/ CT10009953/ V1177 on the memo line. Then mail your check to:

| On our first trip to Haiti (12/2009-1/2010), this is where we stayed. Hotel Peace of Mind. |

| This is Chevraine Maxime. I thought his name was Jeffrey Vincen. Lol. He was my favorite child at the church in Jacmel. Just look at his smile! |
